Hello, my name is Ligia Carvalho, and I am an aspiring children's book author and writer, keen every day to convey my ideas into great stories.

I published my first book, "Max Loves Cupcakes," in 2017, and it was the start of my writing career. In 2018 I was able to publish my second book, "Grandma is a Star." My third book was released in December 2020 "My dragon doesn't want to wear shoes."

I have always loved to write since I was a young girl. I grew up in Brazil, where I got my Bachelor's degree in Social Communication. I moved to Canada in 2009.

After I had my three boys, I decided to pursue my dream of writing books for little kids. I enjoy travelling and reading as much as I can.
